Our winery was one of the very first private cellars to open its doors in the Badacsony region. In our family, the love and knowledge of grape growing and winemaking have been passed down from generation to generation (father to son). Today, our family-run estate cultivates 7 hectares of vineyards in one of Hungary’s most renowned wine regions, nestled beautifully by Lake Balaton at the foot of Badacsony Hill. Our winery is always growing! In 1999, we completed our ’Secret Cellar’ (Titkos Pince), followed by the Sipos Guesthouse in the spring of 2003. These additions helped us become a certified stop along the Badacsony Wine Route and a highlight for wine tourism around Lake Balaton. Our Guesthouse, built right here at the winery, welcomes wine lovers all year round. We strongly believe in honoring tradition while also bringing a splash of color and fun into our winery’s life. You can see this in action through our diverse events, like our popular Theatre Evenings where guests can meet acclaimed actors (winners of the Jászai Mari Award!), and even on our refreshed wine labels where we’ve hidden fun movie references [like ’Olasz of the Rizling’ and ’Szürkebarát GOT (Game of Thrones)’].
